Here we are at the end of the first week of CosmicReborn. It hasn’t been a completely smooth ride, but we did enjoy the journey! We’re not ready to stop there, and today we’re bringing you our first official update!

As some of you may have guessed over the past week, today, we're releasing our first Cosmic Crate: December 2023:

Weekend Events
We will be running various events and activating different Global /multipliers throughout the weekend as a little something for all the players who helped us this past week, including:
- 1v1 & 2v2 /tournaments with insane rewards
- 2x /ruins drops from all mobs (including Leviathan boss)
- 2x /trial rewards
- 2x /dungeon rewards
- 2x Spawner Drops
- Ending of /grace
New Additions
As we move with the times, and to keep things fresh, here's all the new and exciting features we've added this week:
Faction Shields
/f shield brings an entirely new experience to CosmicReborn. Faction Shields' purpose is to protect your base, disabling all explosions within your base claims for 8 hours within the timeframe you choose to set. This gives factions more flexibility and covers “dead zones” when no one is online.
Now that /grace is ending, make sure to set your /f shield to protect your base!
Trial Trinket: Extra Loot
This new /trial trinket is a game changer to everyone who wants even more loot from their trial runs. When this trinket is applied, all players will receive extra loot items depending on the multiplier that the trinket has. These range from +20%, all the way up to +200%.
These coveted trials will first only be available to obtain from Planet Nul Dungeon and the new /cc.
/chestsearch
Ever spent far too long looking for an item in your base just to find out it was exactly where you left it? Worry not, this week we're bringing you a new way of finding items in a chunk that will make you wonder how you ever did it before it!
Simply use /chestsearch <itemName…> and it will scan all chests in the chunk you are currently in and highlight the chests in different colors (in order of closest → furthest)
Jackpot History
Ever wondered what the outcome of a /jackpot was when you were offline? Wait no more… /jackpot history does just that! It displays all information about past jackpots so if you ever miss one you’ll always know what the outcome was.
QOL Updates
Throughout the week we have been adding updates to make your experience more enjoyable and easier. Here are some of the updates:
- Added /toggle lootboxopenings: This will remove those pesky lootbox openings in chat
- Added an easter egg to the Block Party /trial room which will activate Speed (sticky keys go brrrrrr…)
- Added a message that notifies players who are eliminated from a /trial room
- Decluttered /f who to make it more visually appealing (you can now hover to see less important information)
- If a reboot occurs while /conquest is active, players will deal 5x damage to the chest
- Added Chunk Busters to /f logs & /f perm
- Added chunk unload time/duration to /f afk GUI
- Added vertical (up/down) Lava Gen Buckets to /shop
- Reduced /shop price for Slime Blocks from 250k to 50k
- Reduced /shop price for Chunk Busters from 50k to 10k
- Enabled Spring Cleaning during /grace period
Bug Fixes
A huge shoutout to all the players who reported all these bugs. You’re making a huge difference for everyone on the server. Here is a complete list of the following fixes:
- Fixed not being able to /ah more than 1 item at a time
- Fixed shiva incorrectly banning for various flags
- Fixed an issue that prevented some lootboxes & KOTH lootbags from being opened
- Fixed CosmicClient not working on newer versions
- Fixed the server queue system
- Fixed being kicked for AFK after 15 minutes
- Fixed being able to use Creeper eggs on spawners during /grace
- Fixed players getting stuck in Rat Race /trial room
- Fixed being able to break blocks in /duel arenas resulting in players being kicked
- Fixed an issue in /trials that wouldn't notify participants when the President deals
- Fixed not being able to place blocks at 0x/0z near /spawn
- Fixed printer lagging players back
- Fixed not being able to buy God Mode /br lootbags due to incorrect requirements
- Fixed certain lootboxes being auto rolled when opening other lootboxes
- Removed invalid minigames from /quests
- Fixed /citadel using the wrong timezone and starting 6 hours too early
- Fixed mcMMO sometimes not working
- Fixed spawners disappearing when mined
- Fixed a server crash that occurred when typing certain commands
- Fixed an issue with KDR randomly resetting on reboot
- Fixed being able to place Creeper pets during /grace
- Fixed /f logs displaying the wrong user who placed a Creeper egg in a chunk
- Fixed Exit Strategy /trial room not eliminating players when reaching 0 lives
- Fixed Creepers blowing up certain areas in Planet Nul /dungeon
- Fixed Discord tickets not embedding linked images
- Buffed Immortal by 2x (armor will now break 2x slower)
- Fixed an issue where players could not negate Combat Log NPC's Holy White Scrolls
- Fixed an issue that caused players to randomly be disqualified from /tournaments
- Fixed an issue where you could get block glitched in Block Party /trial room
- Fixed not being able to /f who offline players
