It's been a while since the last blog on the topic of Cosmic Factions and boy are we glad to be starting this up again. In this post, we'll go over some frequently asked questions so you know what to expect from CosmicReborn. Let's get started!
When will CosmicReborn release?
Our release will be: Saturday December 2nd 2023 @ 11am PST // 1pm CST // 2pm EST // 7pm GMT.
What features will be available?
We've spent the last 10 months, working full-time, re-creating almost every aspect of what Cosmic Factions had to offer when it shut down. We hope not to disappoint and likewise not to keep everyone in a state of suspense. Here is just some of the features you can expect:
- Trials (including all major rooms and routes)
- All Item Skins & Custom Blocks
- Citadel
- All 3 Invasions
- All 3 Dungeons (including Heroic Dungeons)
- Ruins
- Tournaments
- God Mode Battle Royale
- All Masks (including all Multi-Masks)
- All Armor Sets
- /f afk
- All Titan Attributes
- All Inventory Pets (including heroic)
- Warp Speed features
- And so much more…
What other features will you have?
Our feature list is much more extensive than the list above, but we don’t want to bore you too much. Over the next week, we'll be releasing some sneak peeks of the server in the build-up to release on our Discord!
How can I help out or get staff?
The only thing we ask from you, is to get the word out! If you're interested in helping the server out even more, we'll be announcing more details on how to become staff in the coming days - so keep your eyes peeled!
How will ranks work on the server?
Initially, everyone will start out as Hero Rank (5th/Top Rank) with the ability to upgrade to Hero+ or Interstellar! Later next year, we plan on re-doing the rank system to make it more progressive for new players but existing players will still receive the same core benefits you will have now.
How will the economy work?
The economy will be set to around the time of January 2023. So, love it or hate it, that's how we'll be starting. However, for parts you don't like we'll be revamping the economy in the coming year to make it more suitable and friendly to new players. Think of our first map as that final map Cosmic never had, but we won't be stopping after the first map! It will be super important to express the parts of the economy that you guys want to see revamped and also the parts you want to be kept the same. We'll be listening very carefully and will implement tangible changes in due course!
Why are we only hearing about the server now?
Instead of releasing a half-baked server earlier in the year, we decided to knuckle down and get the job done first before we released. We believe it is super important to focus on creating a common foundation and then we move from here.
How do you guys have so many features?
Our server will closely match what Cosmic was when it shut down for those that still remember what it looked like - a blast from the past shall we say! Our team recorded lots of mundane footage of the server before it shut down to make sure all of the recreations were of the same calibre!
